2. What Data We Collect
The Transcript Generator does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers. All data you enter — including student names, dates of birth, addresses, course records, grades, and exam scores — is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device.
We have no access to this data. It never leaves your device.
3. Local Storage
This tool uses your browser's localStorage to save your plan between sessions. This is similar to a cookie but stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data or using the "Clear All" function in the app.
Important: because your data is stored locally, it is tied to the specific browser and device you use. Clearing your browser data, switching browsers, or using a different device will result in loss of your saved plan. We strongly recommend using the Export feature regularly to back up your data.
4. Analytics
This tool may use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page visits and general usage patterns. This data does not include any personally identifiable information or the content of your plan. Google Analytics data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Cookies
This tool does not set cookies beyond what Google Analytics may use for anonymous tracking purposes. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking individual users.
6. Children's Privacy
This tool is designed for use by parents and educators managing student academic records. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. All data entered into the tool is stored locally on the user's device and is never transmitted to us.
7. Third-Party Services
Beyond Google Analytics, this tool does not use any third-party services, APIs, or integrations that collect user data.
8. Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store your data, there is nothing for us to delete or provide. You have full control over your data at all times — you can export it, clear it, or stop using the tool at any time.
