1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Transcript Generator ("the Tool"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Tool. These terms may be updated at any time — continued use of the Tool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. What the Tool Does
The Transcript Generator is a self-service tool that allows homeschool educators and parents to create high school academic transcripts based on information they enter. The Tool generates a formatted document for personal educational use, including college admissions and academic record-keeping.
The Tool does not verify, certify, or validate any of the information entered. It is not affiliated with any school, accreditation body, college, or government agency.
3. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and completeness of all information entered into the Tool
- Reviewing and verifying the generated transcript before submitting it to any institution, organization, or individual
- Ensuring that the transcript accurately reflects the student's academic record
- Any consequences arising from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the transcript
- Backing up your data using the Export feature — we are not responsible for data loss due to browser data being cleared or device changes
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Tool to:
- Create transcripts that misrepresent a student's actual academic record
- Fabricate courses, grades, credits, or exam scores that were not earned
- Submit fraudulent transcripts to colleges, universities, scholarship programs, or any other institution
- Impersonate a school, educator, or accrediting body
- Use the Tool for any unlawful purpose
Fraudulent use of academic records may constitute fraud and is subject to legal consequences. We reserve the right to report suspected fraudulent activity to appropriate authorities.
5. Accuracy Disclaimer
The Transcript Generator is provided as a formatting and organizational tool only. The accuracy of the transcript is entirely dependent on the information you enter. A Tale of Changes makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any transcript generated using this Tool.
We strongly recommend reviewing all generated transcripts carefully before submission to any institution.
6. Pricing and Access
The Tool is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce pricing, subscription plans, or premium features at any time. Notice of pricing changes will be communicated in advance. Continued use after pricing is introduced constitutes acceptance of the applicable fees.
7. No Warranty
The Tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Tool will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs. We do not warrant that the output of the Tool will meet the requirements of any particular institution.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, A Tale of Changes shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Tool, including but not limited to rejection by any educational institution, loss of data, or reliance on an inaccurate transcript.
9. Intellectual Property
The Transcript Generator, including its design, code, and content, is the property of A Tale of Changes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Tool without prior written permission.
10. Changes to the Tool
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Tool at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Tool.
